HISTORY™ presents The People Speak as an event and film broadcast that takes history beyond the facts and museums to the emotions of the time. By giving public expression to rebels, dissenters, and visionaries from our past—and present—The People Speak seeks to educate and inspire a new generation working for social justice.
The People Speak is accompanied by an education programme that enriches teaching and learning opportunities. It offers teachers and students ideas that will inspire their history and citizenship lessons in a fun and engaging way with free multi-media resources, presented by leading actors and celebrities, that are aimed at 7-16 year olds.
